About Us

MAGALI PEREZ PIA
Born in Mendoza, Argentina, at the foot of the Central Andes, I’m the founder of Andes Infinito. My journey began with an EFL teaching degree from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, but during my studies, I fell in love with the mountains. This passion led me to pursue tourism as a second degree.
After 10 years in a corporate career with various mountain travel agencies, I also interned with the Adventure Travel Trade Association and coordinated technical courses in collaboration with international organizations such as AIARE.
Following years of exploring, climbing, and collaborating with fellow adventurers, I launched Andes Infinito—where I blend my travel experience and technical knowledge with my deep respect for nature to create life-changing, personalized experiences.
You’ll find me everywhere—preparing customer lunch boxes, designing campaigns, arranging transfers, or scouting new locations by myself.
When I’m not working, I cherish slow travel, wandering through street markets, creative writing, and sport climbing.
MIJEL LOTFI
Mijel is one of our main guides. He has been a passionate climber and mountaineer since 1984. His professional journey began as a National Mountain Instructor in Mendoza in 1990. In order to further enhance his skills, he pursued a degree as a Medical Doctor at Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. In 2007, he achieved yet another milestone by becoming an IFMGA Mountain Guide. Because of this, he is now the only guide in South America with both qualifications so far.
Aconcagua has become a second home for him, since he’s summited it 51 times (and counting), and it is the place where he also works as a doctor. During low seasons, he is a mountain guide instructor at the IFMGA and the AAGM in Argentina.
He’s also a full member of the UIAA Medical Commission, the International Climbing and Mountaneering Federation.
Mijel is our favourite “bookworm”. His private library should be one of the biggest in town. So be sure he has thousands of stories on mountains and climbing to share with you.
Nowadays, he guides in Latin America and Europe, while also giving technical courses in mountain medicine, climbing, mountaineering, ice climbing, etc.

HOW DO WE WORK?
“We collaborate as a team with the client, listening to their ideas, tastes, history, and needs from the very first meeting.”
